Getting started
Set up your account and send your first borrower-ready report in about five minutes.
LendrTech turns a rate quote or a lender fee sheet into a clear, side-by-side loan comparison your borrower can actually understand. There's nothing to install and no integration to wire up — most loan officers send their first report within minutes of signing up.
The five-minute path
- Add a client. Open Clients in the sidebar and click New client. A name and an email address are all you need to get going — the rest can wait.
- Create a fee sheet. From the client's page, click New fee sheet. You can build a fee sheet by hand, start from one of your templates, or import a lender fee sheet PDF and let LendrTech extract the numbers for you.
- Generate a report. Pick the report that fits the conversation — a purchase comparison, a refinance analysis, or a single-loan breakdown. Each fee sheet becomes a loan option column, with charts your borrower can take in at a glance.
- Send it. Email the report straight from LendrTech or download a polished PDF — see sharing reports with borrowers.
Make it yours first
Reports carry your branding — your photo, your company logo, and your contact info appear on what borrowers see. Two minutes in account settings before your first report makes every report after it look like it came from you, not from us.
Which report to build
The three report types answer three different borrower questions, and the type is fixed when you create the report — so it's worth thirty seconds of thought up front. A purchase report puts loan options side by side for a borrower who is still choosing. A refinance report measures one or two proposed loans against the mortgage they already have. A single-loan report is one loan, explained cleanly, for a borrower who has already decided. If you're on the fence, which report should I send? walks through it in more detail.
Where you land next time
After that first report, signing in drops you on Home — your dashboard. It carries a running count of your clients, the fee sheets you've built this month, your saved reports, and your subscription, then lists your recent fee sheets, recent reports, and recent clients so you can reopen yesterday's work without hunting for it. A Quick start card sits alongside for when you're beginning something new. See your home dashboard for the full tour.
Two keys and you're anywhere
Press Cmd K (Mac) or Ctrl K (Windows) from anywhere in LendrTech and start typing. It searches your clients, fee sheets, reports, and templates at once, and it runs actions too — a new client, a new fee sheet, a new report — so a borrower whose name you half-remember is three letters and an ↵ away. It's the fastest thing in the product; search and shortcuts is worth five minutes.
If you'd rather be shown than read, the welcome prompt's Show me around runs a short guided tour of the layout, and several screens carry their own short walkthrough in the top bar — a Walkthrough button on the Templates page, a small ? icon on the report builder and the import screen. You can re-run the tour any time from the command palette.
What LendrTech is not
Worth knowing before you build a workflow around it. LendrTech doesn't price loans — every figure on a report comes from the fee sheet you built or imported, so nothing here pulls live rates or talks to your lender's engine. It isn't a loan origination system either: there's no application to take, no documents to collect, nothing submitted to underwriting. And what your borrower receives is a presentation of estimates, carrying that disclosure at the foot of the report — it isn't a Loan Estimate, a rate lock, a pre-approval, or a commitment to lend, and it doesn't replace the disclosures you're required to send.
What it is: the fastest way to turn numbers you already have into something a borrower understands in one look.
Is my data secure?
Data you store in LendrTech is encrypted with modern encryption algorithms, and we never store credit card information — payments are handled by Stripe. Your account and security covers passwords, sign-in, and what's stored where.
